Should I Stay or Should I Go?
One day I hear that Vasquez is going to turn pro because his father is sick and his family needs money. The next day I hear that he is struggling in the NBA camps, and that he could benefit from another year of work. It is a real crapshoot right now and his return/exit from Maryland could have a big impact on a Terp team still trying to find an identity.
Same thing with prized recruit Lance Stephenson. One day I hear that he is a lock, and he is only awaiting more clarity on his late June court case before committing to the Terps. The next day, I read the Terps are out and he is leaning toward other options (including Arizona and Memphis). Supposedly GV and Lance want to play together…but my guess is that they would be better off NOT playing together.
Stephenson will want to showcase his offensive skills and that will be difficult with Vasquez on the team. I am greedy and want them both, but we shall see. What do you fellow Terp/ACC fans think?
